Östermalms Dance Studio is a dance studio for all the age groups and levels. If you are interested to learn dancing from energetic and professional teachers in the heart of Stockholm, then you are on the right website. We offer Ballroom and latin courses, dance mix for kids, Zumba latin fitness, wedding dances and private lessons for any type dance you would like to learn.
Teachers
Per Almberg
Per has learned to dance from best dance teachers of Sweden and the world. With his dance partner, Emese, they are a top ranked Swedish couple in the Latin American dances. They have been dancing and teaching Ballroom and Latin dances together for many years, They are Multiple Swedish champions in Latin American dances and are regularly representing Sweden at international competitions.
"As an engineer I love to analyse the movements and experiment with how the couples can be synced to each other. We have the possibility to travel and learn from the best teachers in the world and bring that knowledge to our dance club. I believe dancing is not only great exercise but also raises your mood while it’s also a mental exercise. It is a great way to meet new people and we can guarantee that our lessons always have high spirits."
Brigi Nagy
Brigi comes from Hungary and dancing has been a part of her life since she was a child. She has competed in Ballroom- and Latin dancing both in national and international level. She has also danced Ballet, Boogie woogie, Lindy hop, Show dance and Salsa.
“I really like to create creative and different choreographies where I can make combinations that has not been seen before. I get Inspiration from all the different styles I have been training.”
When she is not dancing she is working with child phycology as a licensed child phycologist.
Brigi is holding child courses and is teaching wedding dance.
Emese Bengtsberg
Emese with her dance partner Per, is a top ranked Hungarian-Swedish dancer and Multiple Swedish champion in Latin American dances. She has been dancing Ballroom and Latin dances since age 7. She has a degree as a musical artist and as a dance teacher. Emese learned a various amount of dance styles during her carrier such as Ballet, Jazz and contemporary dance and has a lot of experience in teaching every age groups from kids to seniors.
"I have always worked with music. As an artist, dancing is all about expressing myself without speaking a word and just moving to music. That’s what makes it exciting. I love to share this experience with anyone who enters our classes independent of the level they are at. I believe everyone can dance, Per and I only give the tools for it. Dancing is the best thing for your body and for your mind."
Svetlana Pajusova
Svetlana has a degree from the pedagogical university of Ukraine in sports and ballroom dance choreography. She teaches Standard dances with us. She has 30 years of experience in ten-dance and she has the highest judging category in both Ukraine and Sweden. Her couples are finalists and winners of many international competitions.
"I love working for results, I am passionate about it and I give everything for dance and development. My goal is to foster new champions."
IULIANA DZHULAI
Iuliana is a professional ballerina, choreographer, ballet teacher and ten-dance coach. She graduated from the Institute of Culture with a specialization in choreography and theater performance director. She studied at the university at the "Department of Olympic Sports".
worked as a ballerina in St. Petersburg's THEATER OF CLASSICAL BALLET, IN UKRAINE SHE CREATED THE ENSEMBLE "GRAND PAS" WHERE SHE TEACHED DANCE FROM TODDLERS TO SENIORS.
IULIANA TEACHES BALLET WITH US AND TRAINS COMPETITIVE DANCERS.
